One piece of equipment used for heavy lifting is The Rotator. The Rotator is such a special and unique piece of equipment that it was an industry changer when it emerged on the scene. Loyalist City Towing has a 2013 Kenworth T800 Twin steer custom spec unit with an NRC 40/50 CSR (Composite Sliding Rotator) and tag axle. This 5 axle tow truck is the only one of its kind in the Maritimes.
Aside from making complex recoveries manageable, this unit performs many other tasks on a regular basis:

The Rotator was designed to work with increased weight in very low situations.
Our rotator can handle lifts over 100,000 lbs and is ideal for working inside buildings, under power lines or in other situations where a traditional crane cannot. It has four winches and is able to manipulate equipment mid-air with multiple attachment points and rigging options.
